Osmium has recently started two projects with i2CAT on R&D aimed at contributing to the secure integration of satellite systems in 5G/6G architectures.

In particular, the two projects are:
🛰  Security of Inter-Satellite Links in Heterogeneous Satellite Networks, which objective is to analyse the threats and risks of a heterogeneous satellite network composed of nodes from different stakeholders/ operators and to design, develop and demonstrate a security mechanism to ensure authentication, integrity, and privacy.
🎛  Satellite Orchestrator Security, which objective is to analyse the threats and risks of a unified satellite orchestrator in the context of 5G/6G NTN and to design, develop and demonstrate a security mechanism.
