Osmium and its consortium partners have been awarded the HSM4COM tender by the European Defence Fund (EDF) to develop a cybersecurity device for micro-satellites, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and Autonomous Surface Vehicles (ASVs).
HSM4COM will develop a hardware device combined with a secure operating system for securing the processing chain and data communications in micro-satellites, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) / Autonomous Surface Vehicles (ASV) and others.
The HSM4COM solution will be capable of providing encryption, decryption and attestation functionalities. The combined hardware/software device will constitute a generic highly customisable solution for both microsatellite and UAV platforms, being also applicable for use in ASV and other similar platforms.
